This is a petition to put Stargate Universe online.

You may be think or say why should be sign this petition it no different then any one else.  I will tell you why we are different.  We are the only ones that have MGM, Netflix, and Hulu upper emails.
I have one request for every one please do not hide your name.  If you do that i cannot send you to them.

Here how we can bring back Stargate Universe it should be put online.  Today’s people like to be able to watch shows on there own time and cannot do this with on air shows they just cannot fit them in to the busy day.  But this can be done with on line shows. 

 

Here how it would work in a nutshell, Hulu would be the launch platform for it to air and be release, then Netflix and iTunes can pick it up a 24 hours later.  All 3 of the companies have the ability to do this and the system in place.

 

Here how this can work:

·       On Friday night at 9:00pm (EST) Hulu begins to stream it to every one.

·       Hours later iTunes releases it to there system

·       24 hours later Netflix gets it and start streaming it on their system.

 

HOW IT COULD WORK

Every company that wishes to stream or broadcast a show has to get permission from the person or company that owns.  This is the licensing of the show, this gives them permission to play the show on their network.  This can be around $1.5M and it could be higher or lower.

 

If MGM made the show and sold the licensing to both Netflix and Hulu this could help in bring back the show.  Let say the licensing fee is $1.5M and Netflix and Hulu paid MGM this they could make out with $3M.  Then you add iTunes and DVD sales and MGM would be all set.

 

Another way is similar but with a few changes we still have MGM make the show and Netflix and Hulu buy the licensing.  But Hulu could buy the licensing for $1M or less and then give MGM 20-30% of the money they make in playing the ad’s from the show, and Netflix pay $1.5M.  Then iTunes and DVD sales and MGM would be all set still.
