Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

Patch 1.4.0 including Wave Mode is ready for download!

Posted by on

Dear Community,

In the last news we've promised a new feature for TPC: We're happy to announce the release of the first Wave Mode mode!

Wave Mode is a skirmish ( =mutiplayer compatible) defense scenario developed by Locutus in which you have to survive against a certain number of enemy waves depending on the map. With todays update you'll get the first map called "Battle over Antarctica". In this scenario you'll have to defend yourself against the most powerful systemlord of all times and protect Earth from falling into Anubis' hands using special types of units and buildings. The ultimate battle is waiting for you!

As usual, you can grab the patch simply by starting our Mod Launcher. To introduce the core features of Wave Mode Locutus created a short let's play video showing most of the maps' innovations. Of course this just helps with orientation as every Wave Mode battle will turn out different and only a proper strategy will lead you to success.

Additionally we also want to show you the latest progress we've achieved with the Jaffa units. In the last units we only presented some renders to you - this time they've have learned how to walk:

Finally we want to announce something that's not related to the mod but should let the heart beat faster of every Stargate fan. In spring 2016 Stargate: Atlantis author Mark Haynes will publish an official comic series dealing with the events of the never-released Atlantis Season 6 and Stargate Universe season 3. More information can be found here:

That's it for this month. Stay tuned for more and enjoy Wave Mode.

Yours,

The new mode is kind of cool. Can we expect more levels like it? For example defending Atlantis with the Tau'ri against the Wraith?

A space-only GC is scheduled for release soon(ish?), from what I could tell from the previous news post.

Mind you, I was under the mistaken impression that the GC and the 'special thing' that turned out to be Wave Mode would launch simultaneously, but that's just me misreading things. :o

yes there is a space gc only under way ^^. but as always it takes so much time. As for the normal gc well it is obviously no yet because the ground part isn't ready yet, but we work hard on it.

We're still working hard on the GC's, but it takes more time as we expected to complete the ground part. Don't worry you will get very nice GC's sometimes, just a bit more patience. :)

...No!
Wave Mode can be played in Multiplayer as well (it was designed for that!) BUT you and your friends need very powerful computers to avoid synchronization errors.

I'll try it out, thanks :)
Even if it doesn't work, it will be fun to see who lasts the longest
